I am against animal agriculture for the same reason I am against sexism, racism, ableism, classism and homophobia.
The circumstances of a creatures birth does not dictate what it is “meant for”, every one deserves to live happy, healthily and with dignity, but some simply want to live.

I wanna laugh and say he is an egg taking an opprutinity to step outside his gender.
But…
Not only did her son not officially report her death, he wrapped her body in a bedsheet, stuffed it into a sleeping bag and hid it in his house.
But it’s not funny, just ghoulish, depressing and scary. That poor woman, she deserved better than whatever tf we call this.
Gawwdan preventing rebinding is so annoying! Or it’s monkey paw wish cousin, letting you rebinding but the on-screen prompts are hard coded to display the default key.
In a simmiliar accessibility vein, I’m hard of hearing so when a game has no option for subtitles then at best I catch 1/3rd of the story.

and every cunt with a “he/him” or “she/her” in twitter bio that doesnt need it.
🙄
Prounon stolen valor isn’t a thing. And yelling at folk trying to gatekeep it as such is far more harmful to our community than any amount of “virtue signaling” from those you deem unworthy.

And this right here is a great reason to buy anything else other than pre-order GTA6.

Simulation theory is the long way around to creationism for atheists.

This is an oversimplification, but tldr…
Tankies are Authoritarian communist, as opposed to democratic or liberal communism. It refers to when the soviet union put down rebellion in Hungry and Czechoslovakia by rolling in the tanks. It prioritizes order over individual freedoms.

My favorite example of this is the protocols for finding mold in your house.

Sure in isolation it’s an odd thing for God to care about, but without a doubt it saved countless lives

So I’m not into megs man, platformer shooters are super not my thing. But after loving Paradise Killer I think detective games just might be. I’ve never played any of the Ace games, any suggestions on which is a good entry point to the series? Is there an overall story of are the games self contained?

The uno reverse card you’re trying to play is so silly. Yes, I am intolerant of intolerance. This sort of queerphobic bigotry is hateful, cringe and diametrically opposed to “acceptance”. You can’t be supportive of queer lives when you are also demonizing queer repsentation as ugly.

None of the characters were attractive. One was morbidly obese. Almost all of them were gender non-conforming
Some real capital G-amer takes here. Come everyone, let’s join hands and “objectively” agree to hate minority bodies.

I mean, the guy worked for the Russian embassy stationed in Alaska. It’s not even a consisparcy that this was staged PR propaganda.

I have several decades of first hand experience saying AMC does love exactly that.

I’m on my phone so I can’t fully crunch the numbers, but I took a few minutes to poke around and I think I found the stats to put both of these in perspective.
https://www.arbor.eco/blog/ai-environmental-impact
Each query sends out roughly 4.32 grams of CO₂e (MLCO2), which may seem trivial on its own but adds up millions of queries a day, and you’re looking at a staggering daily output. 1 million messages sent to ChatGPT is equivalent to 11,001 miles driven by an average gasoline-powered passenger vehicle
https://www.epa.gov/greenvehicles/greenhouse-gas-emissions-typical-passenger-vehicle
The average passenger vehicle emits about 400 grams of CO2 per mile.
So yikes and without a doubt unsustainable energy usage, but comparing this to wikis article on COVID environmental impacts
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impact_of_the_COVID-19_pandemic_on_the_environment?wprov=sfla1
In 2020, carbon dioxide emissions fell by 6.4% or 2.3 billion tonnes globally.
My napkin math says that we would need ~532,407,407 AI queries to match the 2020 work for home drop, but unfortunately, Chat GPT alone is estimating 2.5 billion prompts, daily.
I started writing this assuming the opposite was true but unfortunately AI is a bigger environmental impact than an RTO. Which is honestly shocking. I hope someone corrects my math and tells me it isn’t this dire. Work from should be the norm, but AI is truly just a massive environmental burden.

Context matters. If it’s alongside some alt right bigotry, then yes. If it’s just a dumb joke about frens and feels, then not at all.
Just how the Christian cross can be a hate sign or a sign of community. In vacuum these are just symbols a collection of shapes and color. Much like these individual pictographic letters combine to make words and sentences. When pepe is used to convey hate, then he is quite literally a hate symbol, but not in any other.

I feel like I should be annoyed at the headline, but honestly it’s clever. Veganism isn’t just a diet, but an ethical framework on minimizing harm so this fits all three aspects in the articles.
I support artists who had their work stolen as part of dataset, it’s largely the same reason I don’t eat animals, it’s all about consent. Being harmed without consent is always wrong.
Likewise the environmental footprint of meat and AI are massive and unnecessary. The carbon footprint between meat and plant protein is massive, just like the difference between building more data centers and supporting existing artists.
AI is bad for your mental health, we don’t really have complete research on what exactly AI does to our brains but I’ve seen enough people thinking they “unlocked sentience”, became “digital gods” and started AI “relationships” to steer clear for my own protection. Not dissimilar to the studies that show a plant based diet is better for your heart and immune system. I’d still be eating plants even if it were bad for my health, I care more about the ethical side, but existing research very much shows it as a net positive.
Neat concept.

Temtem. Like I’m not trying to be a troll, but Tem has so much more going on in its world.

Just curious, what was the male version?

Finicial authority beats moral everytime.
Well that was fascinating! Ty for the interesting read.
