Nice list of games with screenshots at the bottom of the Warfork website https://warfork.com/#viewvault
woah the concept of onfoss is so cool
Probably because of the recent RedHat drama right?
I scroll and for every vote I make I poke a spez voodoo doll, so witchcraft basically
There’s a LESS_IS_MORE env var for less
which makes it behave like more
. Or something like that. Check the manpage
I want to buy a thinkpad that I can set up as a privacy machine
The older ThinkPads can go much further in the freedom/privacy realm than new ones. If you think you’d want to set up a custom BIOS etc., look at T440. There’s also T430 but it doesn’t support 4K output on external monitors. But you said you’re not “especially tech-literate”, so I assume you’re more towards the newer ones.
The video below makes the point “old but modifiable” vs “new and fast” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2OB6zfL904
I recently made a small pure JS package at my company. It just fucking worked, can you believe it? No setting up compilation and CI/CD for build + release. Just put it in the repo and publish manually, and it just worked, it’s ridiculous
look at mr “I never deleted the bootloader” here
nice clickbait headline man
Why go through the hassle? EDIT: I mean as in “Just stop using X”
imo the purpose of those cheesy lines is more to break the ice […] rather than to swoon them
wait so you guys actually get to continue the conversation after saying the line?
Huh the integrated CI surprised me. Woodpecker seemed nice with the fully containerized approach (no vendor lockin? It’s just a container)… Not a fan of “yet another CI yaml”, but from a practical point of view, it’s easier than setting up Woodpecker.
Qwant has a tendency to respond with an error response for no reason from time to time
Are you using the search term tinyminincro? Because that’s just the name of the series from servethehome that doesn’t mean much outside thag. Try Lenovo m720q, Lenovo m920q, Hp elitedesk, hp prodesk, dell optiplex
Do note that devices come in same names but with different generations of the device (better CPU etc.). Devices with 6th gen CPU are cheaper, but 8th gen Intel start to have 6 cores instead of 4 (in 6th gen)
Are you browsing ebay or local craigslist-type sites? May be possible they’re not as popular in your country? I’ve found plenty in Poland
Check out the TinyMiniMicro series from servethehome
Yeah, but what if you get a call?
Why ask for help if I can spend hours in “terminal flow” where I know every three character sequence for CTLR+R to suggest the last 10 commands in the history?
