Numbers don’t mean squat if you don’t have the follow through. I’ve never sold a single piece of art through Insta. People on Insta like passively browsing through images and tapping the heart. For an artist, it’s a useless audience.

I don’t really like her either (she more or less sided with white nationalist groups in the recent uprising in South Africa because the indigenous protestors were ‘too violent’), but as a queer person who’s been the target of a hate campaign, the fediblock canary is kind of indispensible.
