Probably a pretty normal opinion for a lady, but based on the content here apparently an unpopular one on NSFW.

Stories > Non explicit stills > Explicit stills > Video

Video is usually the least sexy porn. Even if it’s one I enjoy. It’s almost an inverse relationship, the less work my own mind has to do, the less stimulating it is.

Never mind that virtually all the videos do the exact same things, following some “rough sex” checklist. They’re all “fuck,” and very few “making love.” It’s no wonder incels have such screwed up ideas about sex.

She has guys hitting on her all the time, she’s had a guy publicly propose to her recently (he knows about me, they have never had a relationship, but he’s rich and just expects to get what he wants), and she’s on the receiving end of constant attention from people

I’m here for her, to worship her through her insecurities

She has even specifically posted content of the things she doesn’t like about herself so that she can heal herself

It’s working! She can’t quite understand that what she sees as flaws are things that I just don’t notice, but it’s the same with me

Yeah, I think the supernormalization factor is like the biggest indicator that capitalism has invaded pornography.

In like the 1970s, two people having sex was enough for it to count as porn. They would be hairy and dirty and the sex was not amazing and spectacular, but it was almost always people just really enjoying each other on film.

Then they realized that videos did better if all of the participants were conventionally attractive. And to a large part, that’s fine. I mean, I’m not particularly interested in seeing people that I am not attracted to naked.

But then they realized that the more extreme the sexual proportions of the bodies are, the better the video did, and the more money they would make, so now the girl has to be 4’9" with 74 ZZZ breasts.

The guy doesnt matter at all as long as he has a huge cock.

And it’s exciting, the first time you’re exposed to this brand of media, but it does not take very long for it to become repetitive

To fight that they started putting in stories, but the stories are terrible.

The available plotlines are, hot girl has sex, incest, cheating, raceplay, or prostitution, and they’re always very poorly acted out because they’re just a pretext to allow sex to happen.

Its all so boring and stale.

I’m with you on this one. Content that allows you to use imagination lets you fill in the gaps to your liking and put yourself in the scenario. With video, it’s harder to mentally filter out the parts that don’t interest you, and videos will rarely be exactly what you want from start to finish.

Stories have a lower cost of production, which also permits for a wider variety of topics to be covered.

Thr lower the cost of production, the better you can do a better job of covering the long tail, providing smaller quantities of stuff that’s more niche or specialized, and have a smaller pool of people who are interested in it.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_tail

In business, the term long tail is applied to rank-size distributions or rank-frequency distributions (primarily of popularity), which often form power laws and are thus long-tailed distributions in the statistical sense. This is used to describe the retailing strategy of selling many unique items with relatively small quantities sold of each (the “long tail”)—usually in addition to selling fewer popular items in large quantities (the “head”).

Anderson cites research published in 2003 by Erik Brynjolfsson, Yu (Jeffrey) Hu, and Michael D. Smith, who first used a log-linear curve on an XY graph to describe the relationship between Amazon.com sales and sales ranking. They showed that the primary value of the internet to consumers comes from releasing new sources of value by providing access to products in the long tail.[10]

Most women would be more willing to have casual sex if it was safer, and women are just as horny as men. Gay hook up culture is a utopia straight people could have if a woman being “easy” didn’t put her in danger - physically, emotionally, or socially. Pregnancy (especially with fear of stealthing), stalking and damages to social reputation are huge concerns with women, and collectively in most cultures many men shoot themselves in the foot here.

Orientation is fluid, and sometimes the people that you have sex with are not people you would want to be in relationships with. There are piles and piles of “straight men” who actively seek out sexual encounters with other men. Social stigma hampers men here to.

Organized BDSM communities tend to get taken over by dangerous people. Frameworks and rules don’t override unhealthy dynamics.

I think the element of danger in heterosexual female sexuality is a thing, but I also don’t think it’s as big of a cause for women’s general preference for…. Choosiness? As you may think.

Every woman I’ve ever known that’s decided to experiment with other women has told me how confused and frustrated they are at how difficult it is to find another woman to fuck.

Like. If danger was the only reason, either with physical safety or stds or pregnancy, you’d expect to see the lesbian community as slutty as the gay male community. And it just…. Isn’t.

Yeah it’s unbelievable the amount of shaming there is around sex, and I agree with you that women are judged more harshly than men when thier sexuality falls outside what society deems acceptable.

On a related note, it really grinds my fuckin’ gears that society tends to think there’s something wrong with someone if they express sexuality outside what’s deemed acceptable.

I don’t know if women are judged more harshly than men by american society as a whole for their sexual preferences.

It feels to me that it’s either close to the same or a little bit in women’s favor.

I’m sure there are extremes that make anything I’m saying completely invalid, but if you isolate the center of the bell curve, I feel like the women get slightly better treatment than men do.

For instance, if you’re a guy and you’re hanging out with your bros and you see two women walk by and your bro goes, hey, those two women are lesbians and they sleep with each other. You are, as a bog standard, heterosexual American man, more likely to say, “Nice!” than “Gross!”

Whereas if you are told two men are gay with each other, as a bog-standard heterosexual American man, you are more likely to say “Gross!” than “Nice!”

Let’s see here. Hard to gauge popularity on this kind of thing, but I’ve run into anything from steady disagreement to outright abuse for some.

Prostitution should be legal, and well regulated for the protection of sex workers.

The age of consent isn’t, or shouldn’t be, about the empty idea of protecting kids, it’s supposed to be about picking an age where the individual should have the freedom to exercise their right to body autonomy, no matter who they choose to exercise it with.

Most kink is boring as hell, and too much attention gets paid to it outside of those that enjoy any given kink.

Any person should have the freedom to give up consent ahead of time, though it would have to be regulated and require documentation to prevent misuse of that freedom by assholes.

Anal is over rated, and even with prep isn’t worth the extra mess and hassle.

Most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a given hole in the dark unless there’s a mustache involved. A mouth is a mouth, an ass is an ass. If you don’t know there’s a man or a woman behind the hole, you would perform just fine.

I really don’t care where you stick your dick, or what dick you take; if there’s no physical injury involved, you can fuck your dog and it’s none of anyone else’s business. Only reason it matters beyond that is if the dog gets in the habit of trying to fuck other people. Same with any other animal; just because it’s gross doesn’t make it my business.

Power imbalances only matter if they’re abused. No need to poke our collective noses into things until that happens.

IDGAF how big of an age gap there is, once both parties have reached the arbitrary age of consent, it’s none of my business, or anyone else’s. It isn’t automatically bad either.

Also, as an adjoining thing to unpopular sex opinions, even really weird opinions aren’t automatically bad or a sign of something wrong. Sometimes people just don’t agree with the majority. Other times, the majority is wrong. If you can’t point directly to an automatic form of harm regarding whatever that opinion is, chances are that you’re reacting to the social mores you’ve absorbed rather than having formed your opinion with thought and care.

    Edit: one last one!

Your body count doesn’t say anything about you other than that you’ve fucked a lot. Pussies don’t get worn out from use, neither do dicks. Get tested, use condoms, and stop being a judgy asshole.

Edit 2: my brain is catching up

You don’t have to be enthusiastic about sex. It’s okay to just consent to make the other person happy, as long as it isn’t being pressured into agreeing. Even then, it’s okay for the person that’s agreeing, it’s the one applying pressure that’s a jerk

Appreciate you posting opinions that are actually controversial. I agree with the majority of them, particularly the ones that boil down to “it’s no one’s business what consenting adults do in their private lives”.

What criteria, in your opinion, have to be met for an individual to be given the freedom to exercise bodily autonomy?

Even if an individual says they consent, even if they show enthusiasm, there is a point where their consent is not seen as valid neither morally nor legally. Whether that point is defined by age or intellectual capacity, why shouldn’t it extend to animals as well?

Honestly, my line in reality is different from a hypothetical one.

In a perfect world, the point when someone is ready internally should be enough. The problem is that it isn’t a perfect world, so you run into someone making choices that can cause other people problems.

So I draw the line where the person could potentially function as a parent on a physical level. Somewhere in the late teens. Like, at 14, not only is childbirth physically risky, but neither genetic contributor is going to realistically be able to handle everything that goes with taking care of an infant.

Condoms exist, so that does mitigate things, but I have only rarely known early teens with the reliability to always use protection. I sure as hell wasn’t reliable back then in that regard, which means my partners weren’t either.

So, I tend to favor 16 as the bare minimum. Before then, the possibility of a new human suffering from bad decisions is just too high. If it weren’t for the increased risks around pregnancy and the impact to the offspring, I wouldn’t have a cutoff hypothetically. I’m big on body autonomy.

That’s not what I said. I can see how you got that from the way I said it though.

A mouth is a mouth. An ass is an ass. Obviously, mouths, asses and vaginas feel different from each other. But two mouths are going to be essentially indistinguishable from each other, and telling the difference between a man’s mouth and a woman’s isn’t something most people could detect without other cues than just the feel of the mouth. That’s why I specified that a mustache might change that.

You ever know anyone that actually went to a glory hole? I’ve known a few, as well as bi guys. Pretty much all of them have said the same thing, that head is head and ass is ass. I personally haven’t had sex of any kind with a guy, but I’ve had enough head from women to say that the actual mouths aren’t different enough to matter, it’s how the individual uses it that matters. You get going with a handful of women switching out, and even if you’re familiar with them giving you head, it’ll be difficult to tell which one is up to bat (so to speak) without looking. Well, I had difficulty, maybe you wouldn’t, I dunno for a fact lol

Unpopular to the outside world: Pegging and anal is more enjoyable for a male “receiver” and should be standard sexual practice.

Unpopular for this community: there are some kinks that are objectively distasteful, unhealthy, and bad. And we (as a society) should get together and get those people therapy, not play sessions.

The problem is, at least in America, there is no discussion about sex.

Most parents are too prudish to sit down with their children and have a healthy discussion about sex with their child, no matter how old the child is. You could be 65 years old and your parents would still not want to talk about sex with you.

Pretty much all of the kids you grow up with know diddly squat about sex themselves, and unless you happen to have one kid in your group whose parents aren’t prudes and talk to them about sex, then pretty much the only way you can learn about sex is by watching it happen in porn.

Kind of seems like that’s an opportunity for a side business. You could be a for hire sex education person. Alternatively, maybe you could teach a community class or create like an online sex education series.

Prostitution: legalize it and tax it. Afford them the same benefits as other self employed workers at least. Besides it’s legal to pay for sex as long as you record it (making porn).

Beastiality: if you harm the animal there are animal welfare laws. If you want to be weird with Flossy the sheep go ahead, just close the barn door so I don’t have to see it.

I’ve found it amusing when bestiality laws explicitly exempt artificial insemination and other ‘customary’ animal husbandry practices. It’s completely legal to fondle your livestock when your motive is profit. Do it for love and go to prison, sicko. It’s almost the exact opposite of human-human prostitution laws.

Yeah, there’s a very distinct group of people in the field that ruin their lives because of pornography, and those people are the kind of people who, if they weren’t doing pornography, would have found some other way to ruin their lives.

Like, maybe if the person who comes from an ultra-conservative, Christian, small town goes and does porn enough to become a worldwide name, and then tries to move back to their conservative hometown, then sure, that particular branch of their life may be ruined. But overall, their life is not ruined, it’s just altered.

Like, maybe if you want to work with children, you shouldn’t do porn, a couple of teachers have lost their jobs because they had an onlyfans on the side because teaching didn’t pay enough for them to survive, but even that is relatively easy to deal with as long as you can move to a new area and start over.
