      Yeah, pretty depressing seeing those studios I used to know as a kid and thought were independent are actually a subsidiary of a subsidiary :/

      I checked wikipedia and Konami is the 19th largest game company in the world by revenue

      The companies on this list are in the top 10.

          Microsoft, Tencent, Sony, EA, Embracer group, Ubisoft and T2 are the parent companies. These parent companies are which make the top 10 big gaming companies.

          All the other companies you see are subsidiaries of the parent companies.

                  You see the companies not part of the circle. Like Microsoft, T2, EA, Ubisoft, Sony and Tencent. These are really big companies and they own a bunch of other companies and make a lot of money.

                  As you can see, each of the big companies own several other companies. The piece of the circle under microsoft shows the companies that they own.

                  Also, Konami is a big company but it doesn’t make much money as the big giants shown here.

    Note that Tencent also has a majority or at least a very large share in a number of other companies, like reddit and supercell.
