To a degree this really did happen in Norway. But, the whiny, parasitic, sanctimoniously hypocritical little shits that took their ball and fucked off to Switzerland (incidentally: thanks, Switzerland, both ironically and… not) were still only a tiny proportion of the income from that same specific kind of wealth tax. The media just put the usual level of disproportionate focus on it, because the most blatantly scummy of the filthy rich have it so bad, poor dudes.
Coincidentally, Switzerland also has wealth taxes.
Apparently lenient enough ones that they’re gathering tax refugees. And I’m not even one to point fingers, we’re sloppy enough about this in Norway.
If you don’t pay taxes in a place you shouldn’t be allowed to make money from there
And if you don’t make money in a place, they shouldn’t make you pay taxes.
What, all forty-five of them?
I’m amazed wealthy people still see this as a credible threat.
das ist doch nur wieder meinungsmache. sag uns wenn sie ausgezogen sindThat’s just opinion-mongering again. Tell us when they’ve moved out
I didn’t read the article, but that will not happen, like it didn’t happen in Spain (or so).
The rich are too lazy and comfortable to leave for some new place with new rules and new police to pressure.
K bye

Yeah sure they are…
As is tradition every election year.
