    Reasonbale criticism.

    IMO home mailservers are best paired with a public alias service like Anonaddy or SimpleLogin. This way you retain privacy, anonymity and it’s also easy to quicly direct your mail to another inbox, should your own server malfunction.

      Any mail is better with a public alias service, not only selfhosted. Because mailtracking is a very often used methode to track the user. This you can only avoid with an alias service. You can keep the content of your emails private, using a service such as Protonmail, Tutanota or other encrypted, or using selfhosted, but it does not change that your email address is practically unique and can be tracked throughout the network.
