Oh thats a very different bubble of jews than mine then. All jews i now -also in germany- do not agree at all with him. I even know Israelis living here (for more than 10years), that hate him and went to the big protests against his politics whenever they went to Israel visiting their familys - Already before the war started.

While it is quite common that countries have different names in other languages, germany is special because it really has a lot of very different names. Alemagne in french, germany in englisch, deutschland in german, tyskland in danish, Niemcy in poland and so on.

Point 1 is only true for the bavarian countryside far away from big cities though. Munich itself is actually quite progressive. Not as left as Berlin for sure, but as a berliner in munich i was quite surprised that my prejudices about conservative bavarians didnt hold at all.

Munich has a lot oft industry and company headquaters. Most people have a good job and a gold life. Thats something i felt in the City as well. The people have fewer problems than in other areas, enjoy Cafés and bars , and speak less about politics than in other german cities (although they do habe opinions and vote). In the one Hand i like this athomsphere of people enjoying their lives in the other Hand i find it quite strange not to speak about the daily events.

Also poverty does exists its just not as visible AS in other german cities. People themselves Seen to hide it as long aS they can. And the real poor people linke homless people are checked by the bavarian police so offen that they avoid the City center. Of course the City looks “nicer” this way but to me thats just in humann. Many people dont know this and are shocked when they come to other german cities with More homeless people visible. They tend to say " wow munich is much better - no poor people". Thats not true. they exist but are forced to hide vor go to other cities.

If you have a true Aloe vera at home, cut one leave of it about the length you need. cut it longitudinally in two halves and put them with the gel side on the skin. Fix it with a bandage or so and leave it for hours until its dry.

I dont have kids yet, but i do remember this Stage from my much younger siblings. Its sleeping, drinking, bellyache, pooping in a loop. Funnfact: in the beginning their eyes also only focus on about 30cm (which is about the distance of mums face when breast feeding).

For the breast feeding.what i hear from my friends with kids It is very normal to have difficulties in the beginning. ASK other women around that already have kids for tips. If the nips hurt there is all kind of stuff like putting tea bags on it (dont remember which tea but a friend did it), silver caps are said to do wonders, cooling pads etc. Some women cannot breastfeed at all, for some it starts later, for some it gets better every week. alll of this is normal its just one of the topics no one speaks about because its “embarrassing if you dont perform”. So stupid. We should all speak about it. We do it among my friends and it is very helpful. Also If you think of it, its quite demanding for the breasts to just make the exact right amount of milk From the day the baby is born. Not before. Not knowing how much this baby drinks which also varies. And Especially since giving birth and producing milk both are super exhausting for the body. With me, my mum had far too much milk. She was overproducing. After some time it normalized. Its totally OK if its the other way round.

Most of the Museums are free for people younger than 18 anyways. But for adults the Museum pass is a great advice.

The Futurium is a quite cool new Museum. Located close to the Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Main Station). Its for free. Its a Museum about the future with lots of interesting stuff on for example future of medicine, future of transport and so on. It has a positive view on many topics even though it of course adresses also the problems. Just super cool and very interactive.

In my experience all the good arguments in governments that change, big companies making money etc are still too abstract to people.

But i have found one argument that at least made women and older men with daughters think about it. Stalking. With reverse image search and stupid people finder apps and ai that can estimate how you look now based on an old picture and vice versa, stalking got soooo easy. Anyone can just secretely take a picture of a girl they find interesting in public and find her social media profile and see where she usually hangs out etc. (Of course also all other genders get stalked - this is just the most known example).

Not only in School, even at university I was taught the DNA structure was solved by Watson und Crick. But they stole data from Rosalind franklin and even openly admitted it years later.

Although i understand it is very worrying, i want to emphasize that a poll Like this doesnt make sense right at this Moment. The last government split up beginning of November. The New one just finished their coalition plans, now their party members have to agree to the plan and from may on we will have a government again. So for six month wie had no real government - in these times. Of course people feel super insecure. Since building a coalotion is always about compromisses the conservative Party gets a lot of hate for making huge compromisses and not follow their agenda. If they wouldn’t they wouldn’t find a partner. But people of course say " its not what they promised to do". So conservative people are upset and might just say they vote afd to shock their party. Stupid yes, but would they really do it? polls in this Situation will always meet people that are less confident and more insecure and people in this state tend more to defiance and thus to extremes, especially when the world goes absolutely crazy and we have no government to react. Its not very surprising. Let’s wait a few month into the new government doing things and then see the polls. I am not optimistic that afd will go down a lot. But at the moment so shortly after the elections you cannot make good polls.
