I know. The FDA says it is safe. Aspartame is bad for those with schizophrenia or any mental health in the fact that it can interfere with some SSRIs and antipsychotics. Caffeine is also a thing they say to limit for those taking them. The studies on some are still limited in either case. Nothing super definitive otherwise the FDA would ban it. And if it really matters, and really this will contradict my initial point, but I don’t think people are really aiming for “good nutrition” anyway because soda being a junk food, lol. If people are concerned they wouldn’t be drinking it, even diet because of the sodium, which is probably the worst thing, since sugar is no longer an issue.

Citations state they came from PubMed.
Sucralose tastes better and is healthier. SAMs club colas are pretty good
When Dad tells jokes from the shower…
And that I was lied to in school about him inventing it. I didn’t know peanut butter was so old.
I forgot you could do that. I had a habit of making sure I subbed before commenting. Lol.
My cats would turn the tree into a carnival attraction, lol.
It sounds a lot deeper than not being able to spell a particular word. Spelling is the number one thing many college students have in common, so it is common to not be able to spell something. Main reason autocorrect and spell check is a thing in tech. I can see why you would be embarrassed due to the pressure of an audience.
Intelligence isn’t measured that way. Just tell them you were having a bad day and if they don’t give you another chance, they are not worth the trouble.
Not the rose she was hoping for, lol .
Probably not as it is not close enough to the known pronunciation. Some people have been accepted despite pronouncing their answers incorrectly and received backlash. It’s usually up to the host to determine.
What about a little fountain spritz of lit up water like in that one Simpsons episode?
“FlushMe: Have You Shat Today!?”
Their instances take forever to be approved. It has been over a week for me.
Edit: I checked and the instance I requested an account with does mention there is a wait-list for approval. I just created one on makertube.net right now that says it should be approved in about a day which is more reasonable. It seems OP could create one on that instance. The Fediverse has alternatives for almost anything.
Lol, people bragging about being rich: 👎
Me, content, bragging about being poor: 😁
You’re right they probably don’t say “lol” they probably say ‘RomGPoCaWmAwi’ (rolling on my giant pile of cash, and wiping my ass with it)
Cold showers are refreshing but if they are too cold …
But there are plenty of gifts only for adults
I got a temp sitewide ban on Reddit. I created this account and when the ban lifted, I deleted my account, made a new one just to observe and not participate. Only some subreddits I miss. They don’t exist yet on Lemmy or they are dead here.
That it is going to be free of all those things you mentioned in your description. If you create it I will gladly join. I just remade a reddit account after a month of deleting my old one and found out how hard it was to gain Karma. I never realized it was such an uphill battle. Other social media doesn’t do this. They usually just use account age or make you wait a week before participating. Just inform that everyone will be treated fairly and not targeted by any power hungry mod. And that it is more sophisticated and mature than the reddit version .
