AppImages are definitely convient to use. However the two issues I have with them are that there’s no easy way to find them (eg flathub) and they’re not automatically integrated with the DE. Requiring a tool that manages AppImages to make it easier.
Works great, I think I’ll use this one then, thanks!
It does feel pleasant and it gets words mostly right, but I can’t seem to get it to work in my local language…
Hoping they keep developing this one cause it feels smooth but it definitely needs more work
On a similar note… I haven’t been able to find an open source keyboard for Android that has swiping. Anyone know of one maybe?
This happened to be in No Man’s Sky. Somewhere close to release, after being stuck in the eternal loading screen where the stars are whizzing by, a white screen with a circle in the bottom appeared. Thought it was another loading screen, but apparently the letter ‘E’ was hidden in the circle, which you needed to hold. Felt embarrassed when I got past the white screen…
At 17:42 in the vid he talks about now algorithms, specifically one with vectors. His explanation is pretty good and comprehensable for not mathematically gifted people
This video by Veritasium was pretty insightful on the topic.
But I guess we’ll have to see about “store now, decrypt later”…
If you’re on Windows, you can give Artemis a try. Open source frontend for OpenRGB. I believe it’s still in development, but mostly works to create some fancy RGB scenes.
Are there any fancy frontends for it on Linux? I found OpenRGB a few years back through Artemis, but I believe that’s Windows only…
Recently picked up PlateUp, can definitely recommend that one as well. It’s like a roguelike Overcooked. If your relationship survives this surely you can handle it all
God yes, this annoyed me so much in AskReddit threads. I’ve always been tempted to make one of those snarky AskReddit threads which would be like: “Why do you never explain why something is good/bad, and only drop the name of it?”
I got very lucky, there is a whole instance dedicated to flight simulation and aviation now! lemmyfly.org if anyone is wondering.
My subreddit list on Reddit was quite long, so it’ll be a while until I have a comparable list with silly communities.
As a Relay user the one thing I have to console myself is that it’s logo is included in all those “going dark” announcement infographics.
If anyone knows of a flight simulation community, please let me know! Just signed up and a little lost on where to look.
This is an S tier meme, bravo
