I don’t know why you got downvoted, especially when the thread is specifically asking you what you did that you’re proud of. For what it’s worth worth, I’m also proud of you.

Good job and congrats! I’m 49 and just restarted school too, finally decided to work on getting a degree.
It was. And then of course this one guy asked me if I wanted to take it private so our characters could have their own little love subplot. And uh… I said yes.
Dorfromantik – so relaxing! Planning to try to finish a couple other games (Guardians of the Galaxy, Far Cry 6) over the winter break too, and maybe start new ones (RDR).
I haven’t thought of this in years but back in the '90s I participated in an email fantasy RPG where we all roleplayed Romulans. One person would write a chapter from their character’s POV and email it to the group, then the next person does one, and so on, so the story unfolded in unexpected ways. It was actually pretty fun.
It’s called …ahem… subverting expectations.
I know I was waiting for the splooge part too.
I guess I just felt weird after thinking about it because I wasn’t some guy in a fancy suit closing out a huge bank account and asking to mail a package in a Manila envelope, but just a 20-something girl in jeans and a tank top mailing out utility bills that were almost overdue. Probably just my own insecurities at the time.
A friend of mine was in San Diego on business where her company put her up in a swanky hotel. I drove down from LA to meet her. I had some bills that were due so I brought them with me, wrote my checks (this was before online bill pay), stamped my envelopes, and asked the front desk to please include them with their outgoing mail.
For those who haven’t figured it out, that’s what Andy Dufresne did at the bank in Shawshank Redemption.
Lucky for me, they were nice about it and they actually did mail my letters for me, but I still cringe when I think about it today.
Yes, I did. I remember using one hand to control each brother, hence my thinking they found each control one with a shared keyboard.
It was just a suggestion. And the fact that it’s simple and short I thought was good since she doesn’t sound like she likes intense games.
I was thinking they could share the keyboard and each do one side/hand. With a wireless keyboard, they could even play while snuggled up on the couch.

Work has been tough. I’m miserable 9-6, 6 days a week. But I didn’t want to abandon them during the busy season so I’m just hanging in there for now. Only two more weeks until I get my Christmas bonus then I’m giving my two-week notice.
Doing okay otherwise. Glad I have a supportive husband who has taken on kitchen and laundry duties since I’ve been so busy.
One foot in front of the other. One day at a time.
two different Israeli tourists told me that Palestinians were animals
One of the local businesses I frequent is owned by an Israeli man and he was telling me they all deserve to die, all of them, men, women, and children. He believes the world needs to be rid of all Palestinians.
“Lay down” when they mean “lie down.” Also “could care less.”
I’m in Illinois. After the online stuff, they sent me a certificate which has a signature line for someone at whatever company hires me, to be signed after they train me on the specific truck they have.
I can’t believe how easy it is to get a forklift certification. All online, never have to touch an actual forklift.
I don’t know if that’s common knowledge, but I just found out because I went through the process myself to get certified.
That is a ton of work! Good job!
Along the same lines, here are my small DIY things that I’m proud of. I replaced the chandelier in our dining room (first time doing anything electrical) and I cleaned the
heatflame sensor in our furnace which fixed the heater randomly shutting off.
