Agreed, asus laptops aren’t optimal for linux. My touchpad works excellent and feels great to use 9/10 times, but the 1/10th time it is slower, harder to move, and randomly stops moving. Not sure if this is just dirt on the touchpad but cleaning it and my hands seems to help a bit.

I want to give you some advice: Use Jellyfin, not plex. It has far deviated to a “hub” for other streaming services and unless you want to have built-in streaming platforms on your home media server, or have plex’s own “live tv” service shoved up your rear, I would steer clear.

Jellyfin is pretty lightweight if you’re just streaming 1-2 connections at a time, I ran it on a raspberry pi 4 for a while and it was near flawless, only recently have I made a proper VM setup for it.

You’ve got a nice new pc and if you want to play something like BOTW, you might enjoy Red Dead Redemption 2. BOTW was also my favorite game of all time until i played rdr2. RDR has similiar mechanics to breath of the wild, like hunting, but the whole world is just so lively, immersive, and beautiful. I can’t think of a single issue with the game, it’s a true 10/10, can’t praise it enough.

I also recommend any other rockstar game, specifically gta v and max payne 3, they are both great as well.

If you want an FPS experience, play the original call of duty modern warfare games first, MW2019 next, then black ops 1-3+cold war+6. I wouldn’t recommend new mw2 or 3.

I’ll also say the Metro games are great, they are like post-apocalyptic COD with a great story and nice gameplay. Super underrated series.

Edit: I have a specific taste for shooter games, so I’d suggest you read other comments if you are into other genres.

I remember my graduation used wireless(presumably bluetooth) speakers, and they were constantly cutting out almost the whole time. Not quite to the scale you’re talking about but the graduation hall was packed and I’m sure it was full of phones and smartwatches.

I don’t think cell tower networks would be because they are probably on wifi when calling(at home) and likely use something like facetime or your choice of free open source messenger which uses the internet.
