  • So I have a story for this, one I’m not proud of mind you, but it happened. One time in a lush store they had these bath bombs that were literally modeled to look like cupcakes, I remarked that they almost looked edible. A STORE EMPLOYEE replied with this.

    SE: They are edible.

    Me: what? No they’re not

SE: oh yeah they’re totally edible go ahead and take a bite

    Me: wait really?

    SE: yeah!

So I take a bite of the cupcake looking thing and immediately the bitter ass taste of soap fills my senses, my eyes are watering and I spit it out into the trash. I kid you not this was like a punch in the face, I was sweating, I felt a huge headache coming on and my nose was on fire. Again I’m not really proud of this but in my defence, I was a dumbass teenager and someone who I reasonably thought I could trust told me something to mess with me and I took the bait.

The employee was nowhere to be seen after that, obviously he saw my gullible ass actually did it and got out of there with a pep in his step and a smile on his face. As for me, I had a pounding headache and slightly lavender scented breath for the rest of that day.

  • Learn the renters rights in your area, like commit it to memory, there are plenty of people who will take advantage of your inexperience or just think you won’t make a fuss if they do something illegal that harms you or refuse to give you your deposit/ect. When you get your lease, actually sit down and read it, save it to a google drive, be able to pull it up whenever. I can’t tell you the multitude of times its saved me, plus, if someone tells you you can’t have your deposit back for x,y,z, ask them for an itemized list of damages, in the us they must provide it, and every one that seems flimsy or is wrong, send them back that you “dispute this charge” and proof if you have it, take pics or HD video when you move in of everything

  • Let’s be honest, old consoles were BEASTS.

I remember my old PS2 used to be perpetually on, I would come home and just flip on the tvand there was my game, sometimes it was a neccesity if I was playing a ps1 game because I didn’t have a ps1 memory card, I swear that thing had to be on for months at a time and it was just fine.

It gets a little harder the newer the console is though, take the 360, if I had done that with that console it would be red ringed before a week Take this with a grain of salt of course, if you wanna be safe, then yeah go ahead and keep it unplugged, or better yet, get a power switch so all you have to do is hit a button, but that was my experience

  • Either way, were gonna have to deal with the problem of these new bacteria possibly getting into non garbage, such as currently in use consumer electronics, and the eventual push by some companies trying to create “bacteria resistant” plastics, which I’m against, or the eventual knowledge that you shouldn’t leave your phone sitting in certain areas or let it hit lake waters or other areas with high bacteria populations, kind of like wood and keeping an eye out for termites.

Just a thought of what may come, but for the current issues we face, this is still fantastic news
