I like to hurt myself by starting shit in predominantly right wing online communities. I made a post about a far right org intimidating our Pride on a Dutch subreddit and it is so funny. They are always posting Muslim lgbtq+ intimidation incidents and defend lgbtq+ rights in those topics. But now they are trying to bring nuance or are outright deflecting with other bullshit. I wonder why.

Also, these guys have the PR instinct of a mosquito. All you can do to make me look like a fool is saying: man that is stupid I condemn this. But they cannot bring themselves to condemn a right wing attack on the lgbtq+ community.

It’s funny how Israel is seen as the protector of Jewish culture when they discouraged their citizens from speaking Yiddish or Ladino

I can definitely see it ramping up even more than it already has. There may be one or two holdouts that distinguish themselves for not doing so, at least temporarily, though.

I expect it to mandated by law to make accounts with any online service within the next 5 years. I’m working on a full transition away from the few things i still use that need accounts with those types of corporate services now. The main thing left to do being email.

Will be in australia. By december all social media sites have to delete all accounts of people under 16 and the only way to do that is for them to ID people. Supposedly its to “protect children” but they aren’t calling for age verification on porn sites so its pretty obvious its all about tracking what people say and do online.

I’ve also heard that sites like YouTube will implement AI systems to estimate users’ ages based on the content they view, and apply restrictions accordingly, such as blocking the viewing of videos deemed problematic, and an ID will be needed to prevent these restrictions. But considering that the majority of YouTube’s “kid’s content” is either brainrot or ElsaGate content, this will more likely be used to silence opposition, such as coverage on Israel’s genocide against Palestinians.

My humblebrag of the week is that I got arrested on Saturday in Parliament Square under section 13 of the 2000 Terrorism Act. I was one of the old duffers holding the sign in support of PA.

In Britain, the Labour government deployed troops in at least 18 industrial disputes between 1945 and 1951 (Ellen, 1984). In Australia, the army was used to break a national coal strike that same year (Deery, 1995). In France, a centrist coalition government that included the [so-called] Socialist Party twice resorted to large-scale military and police repression during nationwide strikes in 1947 and 1948, including the occupation of mining regions and mass arrests of workers (Mencherini, 1998).

Did “democratic” Liberals decide that they need military coercion and terrorism against any protestors who demands meritocracy and accountability? At least it is one more prove the claim by Chinese government that are defending the peaceful protesting against armed terrorist group in the 1989 Tian’ammen Square massacre.

How could I believe in fake news from Western media oligarchy about government repression by successful countries of people of color when the Western media oligarchy practice the same repression themselves? They can claim that government oppression by Pax Americana is better than other governments, but this claim depends on the creditability of Pax Americana itself. If they are serious about their Liberal doctrine, then they should fire the workers if they had other potential workers as replacements. If they lack other prospective candidates, then the workers has bargaining power of the free market and they need to negotiate with the workers for better compensation or good working condition.

My major part paid of a community project is finished. I learned a lot about myself during this time. Now it’s time to rest and process for a bit, get neglected personal projects back on track, before the next as yet unknown thing. I still have a roof over my head, food in the kitchen, energy to prepare it, and internet to converse with good people who help me broaden my horizons. Life is good.

Yeah. Every few days I break down and scream something like “Just stop it already” to nobody in particular. If there is a god, when I die, I swear I am going to stab them like 30 times while yelling “This is for Gaza you sick fuck.”

Pride was decent. Some fighting between participants and fascist who were protesting. Sadly queer activists for arrested for it.

Damn that’s sad. At our pride, we had activists arrested for protesting the Booking .com boat that was pinkwashing their involvement in genocide. It seems the authorities who claim to be on the queer’s side aren’t on our side after all. That being said. I’m feeling more empty now our prides done. As a queer person, it was still nice to see that for a whole week the city became ours. Even though it attracted a lot of straight people who just came here to party and were harassing queer people lol.
