    Interesting, but any project with more than 1 contributor is likely an international one.

    Why ?

    There are millions of open-source projects. How is it useful to sort them by country ? Is there somewhere a filtering guideline ?

      I see it as more of a way of bringing attention to the international nature of open source projects, since the US is way over-represented in technology.

      I found it interesting to see if there are some FOSS developers living near me that could be interesting to link up with.

        There are FOSS developers living near you. We are everywhere (but most of us make things that don’t interest many people).

        Maybe we’d need a map, to have more precise locations, and some kind of categories ?
