Denmark on Sunday made its displeasure known after the wife of President Donald Trump’s most influential aide posted a social media picture of Greenland painted in the colours of the US flag.

Katie Miller – wife of Trump’s deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller – put the contentiously altered image of the Danish autonomous territory on her X feed late Saturday, after the US military operation against Venezuela.

Her post had a single word above it: “SOON”.

    They should be pissed.

The entire world should be sanctioning the fuck out of the US. It’s entirely obvious the administration is off the rails and isn’t going to stop on its own.

Sanction what with which power? You can only sanction when you have the upperhand. We need to retract from US dependence, as quickly as possible. But there’s zero power to sanction, be real!

No, you’re either an American that can only see the world through the dollar or a troll.

Maybe if the US didn’t spend the last year deteriorating their diplomatic relations with literally everyone but Israel and Russia they could get the umpteenth “just the US being the US” pass, but the world isn’t just going to roll over for that excuse of a man

What the fucking is wrong with all of our leadership?

Oh that’s right! Like 90% of the global political class are morally bankrupt corporate-whores who grovel at the feet of capital… possess no true leadership, vision, morals, or ethics… beyond whatever virtue signals and platitudes they think will poll well.

The sad part is, they seem to not be able to see themselves in any form of real power. They are perfectly content to grovel for scraps while giving up any power they actually had, so that in the end they have no meaningful amount of power, or wealth. So they really think that amassing $25 million means anything? That’s not even enough to play at the same table as the ‘rich’. They could have kept them in check with legislation, but they’ve given up that power as well

Who can yo vote into power but members of the political caste?

Oh yes, you can join a party and brown nose your way up, but by the time you reach the point where you can actually be elected into a position of power, you have been utterly corrupted.

Or you can found a party, which will either have no adequate funding to compete with the established parties, or will be utterly corrupted by those who like things staying the way they are. Also, the moment a new party looks in any way promising, it’ll see a torrential influx of opportunist new members who want to use it to further their own self-serving interests. In the end, those will inevitably make if to the top.

          So political caste it is.

No one is ever allowed to come within arms length of the levers of power unless the system either owns them or owns evidence with which to compel them.

We don’t live in a caste system.

The reason non-corrupt people aren’t elected is the fact that the media will loudly tell the voters why that person is truely incompetent and insane every single time. They so because they are paid be the ones protecting their corrupt assets.

Now, what is the actual problem here? Stupid voters helping to exclusively get corrupt people in power because they fall for the same bullshit every time. Or the fact that there is an imaginary caste system and everyone born into it is evil?

We don’t live in a caste system.

How else would you describe a system in which power is held by a very exclusive club that’s living in its own kind of reality?

The reason non-corrupt people aren’t elected is the fact that the media will loudly tell the voters why that person is truely incompetent and insane every single time.

Yes, the media are playing a big part in the corruption, be it corporate media through their owners, or public media through political influence.

Denmark…please, please, for the love of God, set a trap meeting with Trump. Try to get him to bring as many of his shitheal traitors with him, and then give them a tour of the bottom of the ocean in the most accidental way possible. Nobody in America will actually give a shit. Hell, you’ll probably become our best ally.

I think Trump will assault Greenland. The real question for everyone else is, “What the hell should we do about this bullshit?!”

At this point, I think that proactive defenses would be the way to go. The core tenet isn’t to save Greenland, but rather to make Trump’s attempt into such a fumble, that he would look feeble at home and abroad.

1: Set up defenses, such as torpedo drones, anti-air, dragon’s teeth, and so forth. They don’t have to be powerful nor expensive, just layered on thick enough to make an invasion into a slog.

2: Force the diplomatic removal of existing American forces from the Thule Airforce base, or put down deterrents to prevent it from being used during an assault. Landmines, barbed wire, dialed in artillery, the works.

3: Place a small garrison. Their goal is to hold out long enough to cause embarrassment to the US. Just a thousand or so troops might be enough, provided their defenses are in place ahead of time. They should be EU soldiers, to make a Greenland invasion into a bigger incident and to promote solidarity among members of the EU.

4: Wire up Greenland’s mining facilities and other valuables to be destroyed. The EU can offer compensation to Greenland if they have to be demolished. Also, free rehousing and stipend inside the EU for anyone evacuated from Greenland. They should have a jet or a freighter on standby for civilians, alongside smaller vehicles for key personnel.

Presumably, any freighter would have to be located well away from the coastlines that America is likely to attack, or perhaps airfields away from the capital. Key point, is that evacuation procedures and materials should be prepared ahead of time, on the EU’s dime.

It was clear as soon as he mentioned it the first time… it was only the question when he will start his attempt… Europe has to build up defenses now.
