I still don’t know what wordle is but I know this is probably the fall of wordle.

In case you can’t read it because of the paywall.

I guess it’s time to find another free alternative, specially considering this line:

“The company said the game would initially remain free to new and existing players.”

Yep, there are a lot of clones the game. Even malicious ones.

There’s a way to save the page because its just JavaScript and enough puzzles until 2024 apparently. There are clones but the fun part is everyone competing on the same puzzle.

Aah, that is great. Good thinking.

Do you think they’ll continue giving it for free?

Of course they would. Bastards. They’re just going to lump it behind their expensive subscription that gives you access to their games.

yeah probably that is going to happen soon.

But as other users have mentioned, you can save the website and play it offline. There are also a lot clones of the game as well.

Already saved! I just wonder how it’s going to work if it isn’t updated? Maybe the author developed it so it always pulls a random work every day?

I am not really sure about this but I think all the words are stored in the code itself.

I mean, I guess it’s kinda related to their famous crossword.
