      If you’ve ever looked at a world map you’d see that the Iberian peninsula is part of southern Europe. Africa is to the south of Europe. The south of the Iberian peninsula is so close to the north of Africa that you can see across the gap on a clear day.

      Ships have existed for a long time. A country can govern over 2 places that are not connected by land.
