Perhaps the title should have been Biometric Recognition System (i.e., AIDC), it is more inherent in that a biometric recognition system is a particular type of computer system that has the functionality and purpose of identifying a person based on one or more physiological and/or behavioral (biometric) characteristics, comparing them to data, previously acquired and present in the system’s database, through the input data acquisition algorithms and sensors.
