I have heard people say that he doesn’t really know what he is talking about and its best to not watch his videos. He also runs a company that sells degoogled phones and VPN devices and a social network site What do you think?
I haven’t seen more recent videos, but previously I think he did a reasonably good job as a privacy advocate for a broader public.
As for the VPN… well why not? People need to make a living somehow and I think that is a better way of making some money than Youtube. Sadly donations only rarely work.
The problem is the fearmongering he does before presenting you with a VPN solution which he profits from. Conflict of interest.
VPNs are mostly feel-good snakeoil anyways :p
I can tell this is true. Most other VPNs are snake oil with fancy marketing.
