I’m aware, but I’m very tall and the seat does not go any lower or back far enough for me.

Hey, I feel your pain. Tall guys need bigger cars. I don’t know what circumstances led to you being stuck in a car that doesn’t fit you but I’ve been there too. I hope you find yourself in something more suitable in the near future. I was able to finally get into a vehicle I’m comfortable in a few years ago and it’s life changing. I’m driving an Expedition.

Thanks, that’s nice of you to say! This one is fortunately not mine, it belongs to someone in my family and I just drive it occasionally. In my own car the seat goes so far back that I can barely touch the pedals even with outstretched legs. And there are no annoying buttons to be pressed by accident :D

I get you. My biggest issue in pretty much any car I’ve driven so far has been just getting my knees ubder the damn wheel. I almost have to do acrobatics to get my right leg into the car.

Yeah you shouldn’t have knees that close to the dash, unless you are 7ft and the seat can’t go back further.

6’6 here I feel the pain.

But have you tried the Citroen BX? I had to put on the blinkers to get in, and leave them on while driving…

There’s no way you just mentioned the Citroen BX. Crazy coincidence. I’ve actually been looking to buy one for a couple of months (the early model with the cool instrument panel) but I’ve never actually sat in one. And I’m just now finding out that it’s too small??

I can be wrong, it was a very long time ago like in -93 or -94 but if I were you, I sure wouldn’t buy one without trying it out first!

It had the craziest blinker stick, like really fat with lots of dials and buttons. You also sat really close to the ground IIRC. Maybe it was the more modern version, the cool steering wheel one doesn’t seem to even have a blinker stick?

Yeah, the earlier ones have a toggle switch on the side of the dash that apparently takes a bit to get used to. The non-adjustable steering wheel is pretty huge in all the models, so that will most likely be the limiting factor. But you’re right, I should probably find one to try sitting in before I intensify my search. Thanks for the heads up!
