Here’s a few arguments:
- free-software enthusiasm is not inherently masculine ; lots of girls and enbies do torrents and hardcore GNU/stuff, too
- you don’t have to find specifically a “girl” to loose your virginity, though male-based heterosexuality is implied here
- you don’t need to loose your virginity to develop meaningful relationships with people, and you don’t need to develop meaningful relationships to loose your virginity (plenty of people who have sex have no idea what it’s like to feel/love for someone, not sure they’re having a much better time)
- having ethical/political debates can be a turn-on, but usually not right at the precise instant someone asks you “out” on movie night ; you can politely/excitedly accept the invitation, then move on to mention it won’t be a Netflix thing though
- you could silently disregard the ethical question about Netflix, and download seasons and seasons of Netflix series in advance before your friend comes over
- statistically, people concerned about software freedom are a minority within the minority, so it’s very unlikely you’ll meet like-minded people at school
- throughout life, you can and probably should make some compromises (unless they’re reactionary bigots) ; i mean if every one is as intransigent as you are about their issue of choice, then communication becomes impossible
