I run i3 and sometimes Openbox. I use the xfce4 terminal. However, when I use rofi to open up a terminal application like ranger, it always opens in Xterm, even though I don’t have Xterm installed. I run OpenSUSE Leap btw.

Check .xinitrc if
TERMorTERMINALis set. If not, set it toxfce4-terminalThanks, this worked.
You can set
i3-sensible-terminal: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/I3#Terminal_emulatorI have already done that. The issue is that when I am using dmenu or rofi to run the applications it automatically launches with xterm.
