disroot also offers xmpp service.
looks like it uses the API, the about page says:
Uses Twitter’s unofficial API (no rate limits or developer account required)
I’m not really sure what unofficial means here, but I’m guessing it’s referring to Twitter’s private APIs.
here’s an issue on github:

This one isn’t open source, but https://postimages.org/ is much easier to use than imgur, and it can even do albums.
I agree, I’ve been using postimages for sometime now.

I use searx.be, I wouldn’t say it’s the best but it works most of the time.
lemmy is already pretty active imo, so no need to fake that.
so I was wondering what advantage does this have over other file managers like ranger ?
Yes, none of the other frontends have a login feature either, that would defeat the point.

AirVPN and NordVPN might not be good choices for privacy, just geoblock bypassing. The only handful VPN choices good would be Mullvad, Riseup, Disroot, Snopyta and 1-2 others I forgot.
What do you mean ?
Disroot and Snopyta don’t have VPNs, do they ?
can I see your blog, if it’s in English ?

this just looks like a client rather than a frontend, your browser still connects to reddit, unlike teddit which proxies everything from reddit.
