  • Does that mean banned on an instance or something other than that?

You can get banned at the instance level or at the community level.
If you get banned from your home instance (where you made your account, in your case programming.dev) then you can’t login anymore and you’re effectively 100% banned.
If you get banned from a remote instance, you can still login, but can’t interact with communities or users from the instance who banned you.
If you get banned at the community level, you can no longer interact with that community.

You can check the modlog on the web, search for that username and see what happened.

  • Sorry. It sucks.

I’m not sure what you’re looking for, but it’s OK to be annoyed, pissed, sad or whatever.
I don’t pretend to have a solution, merely that whatever you choose is fine.
I haven’t been through your exact situation but sometimes, some people just don’t deserve a place in your life.

It’s easy to think you owe him your presence just because he’s family, but really, you don’t.
    Neither do your kids.

You’re not a burden. You deserve better.
Your dad sounds like a narcissist, you’re not obligated to keep them in your life with how they seem to make you feel.

  • Hey the dialogue in DOOM is great.

I’m assuming you’re OK with single player games?

    Anyway.
Titanfall 2 campaign is pretty tight, although short.

Outer wilds is definitely something where you can talk all the time while you uncover the mysteries of its universe. It’s not action oriented, but flying around at space finding clues of what’s happening. Do NOT look for spoilers, once you know everything it’s pretty much done.

Castle Crashers is a fun co-op where you can banter all you want. Don’t know how fun it is to watch, I never watch, but you buddie can join in.
