    F-Droid apps are always preferable, as many FOSS on Google Play are modified to match Google’s ‘privacy’ policy. In the same way that for example Blokada on Google Play is a ‘decaffeinated’ version of the version on the official website or that of F-Droid.

          They don’t do it but the developer if he want his app in the Play Store. Google Play Store don’t admit certain privacy functions in the Play Store. Because of this only the homepage of the product or F-Droid offer it as is.

        Well, but not the older versions, out there also those which don’t have the last model of smartphones with Android 12. Mine has more than 5 years and I will using it while it works, before to buy a new one.

          It’ll take at least one year in order to see some cheap android phones with this latest version…

            I think that in view of the environment that has already been damaged enough, it is somewhat hypocritical to change the cell phone when the old one continues to work well and does its service.
