On my phone I use transportr but I’d like to be able to have a website that does the same thing to be able to check transport schedules without ads or any tracking bullshit on a computer. so is there a transport assistant website?

The official website of the public transports in my town is full of craps so it could be better to have something better. But that’s what I’m doing for now :/

It’s the best I’ve ever tried, an ideal complement to uBO. Another good complementary extension to these two, is SiteBleacher, which you will surely also like. It removes automatically cookies, local storages, IndexedDBs, service workers, cache storages, filesystems and webSQLs, except from the whitelisted sites. With these three you really show the ugly finger to any tracker and other crap that the pages put on your computer.

It seems that Trace is discontinued for now, at least on Firefox.

Also, isn’t the use of many extensions actually harmful to you, as in fingerprinting? they’re Interesting extensions nonetheless

Yes, Trace has not been updated for some time, but it still works very well, precisely against fingerprinting. Naturally there are alternatives, the best of them is CyDec (browser extension with basic function is free to use, paid app protect to enterprise level with CYberDECeption), but this is proprietary soft, but it works extremely well, it provides all the data that the page requires, but all of them random fakes. If you activate all the options it has, you may see like someone who posts with a Windows 95 with IE from some Pacific island, things like that. Disadvantage is that activating all the options makes some websites stop working, but this happens with Trace as well.
