Okay, sure—if you check the Steam Hardware Survey, Linux machines make up only a bit above 1% of all Steam users. That number’s set to rise soon, though.

    Saved you a click.

Windows shills and mainstream gamers will still imagine up some crap about how games acktchuyally don’t work. You see it on R*ddit right now in the equivalent thread.

The same people who wonder why triple-A titles suck yet keep pre-ordering them. There’s no winning with these folk.

I’ll keep playing games just fine on my Kubuntu installation, lol.

Its pathetic. 76% of the top 1k games run at gold or better.

The way redditors talk about Linux youd think the only games were Halo or Apex.

For them that might be true. There are people with a very narrow horizon which can’t do without some “essential” (to them) games.

True. I won’t talk about the stats but it’s been a long time since I wanted to dayly drive Linux, but my gaming habits kept bringing me back to windows. But this year for the first time, I switched and didn’t looked back !

It’s annoying to see so many people complaining about billionaires and Bill Gates in particular, but still using Windows and other Microsoft products

I feel you, but also keep in mind that these people are victims as well. The reasons not to switch are getting fewer and fewer, but they still exist and those in power intend on fighting to keep it that way.

It’s a shame, but changing the status quo isn’t really a matter of convincing more people to switch (though it certainly won’t hurt)…if anything, they’re the ones missing out.
