History repeats itself right ? Before Hubble’s telescope, scientists were saying : “it will show the hedge of the universe, where there is no Galaxies yet formed”. Remind me in 6 months.
Space is unimaginably vast. It is overwhelmingly unlikely we’ll even fully understand a tiny fraction of it even if we explore until the end of the universe.

I don’t know what to expect but I find that the older I get the more excited I am about basic research like this.
High-res infrared images?
Maybe before you attack an achievement like Webb you should ask why there’s a bunch of Hubble level telescopes in orbit pointed towards earth.
Having said that, it will be really cool to see the infrared light that other space telescopes are unable to pick up.
