      Yeah, that’s important info. This could just be an accounting gimmick to prevent paying taxes.

        Public corporations usually do accounting tricks in the opposite direction. They inflate profits to increase the stock price.

          Stock price is not very much affected by profits (unless a projection, which are usually understated, is missed by a lot, and even then it rebounds quickly)

          Having worked for a couple fortune 100 corps, usually sales are overstated and profits understated.
