I really hate it when people “leave out some sugar” because they either think it tastes the same or just winged it without a recipe but don’t use enough sugar.
I hate it more when they just add sugar “to be sure”.
Most of the cakes you find everywhere are for people who are so used to eating sugar that for anybody else they are uneatable. Hope somebody starts an “unsweet” trend soon. We dont need more edulcorants.wejust need less sugar and training back our tongues to being able to taste without so much sugar. Same with salt now that we’re at it.
Not a big fan of angel food cake.
Dry cake is the worst. It doesn’t even matter what the flavor was. All I can do now is choke it down with the help of copious amounts of liquid.
