I mean, there’s a flatpak for it, should work with pretty much everything.

do we get thumbnails in file open dialogs? do we get per directory sorting prefs in nautilus? do we get appindicator support? do we get a dock? do we get a compact UI mode for those huge buttons?
No, we only get another nautilus bug so that it doesn’t open when you update :P /s
the gnome devs have much more important things to worry about, your thumbnail file picker will come once every nazi gets kicked from gnome/open source software
