    So, the implications of this post are that Mozilla will have google default search engine, and ship with default configuration, rather than LM-specific one, because Ubuntu is moving their package to snap. I was anticipating for more security fixes, but I guess that’s not what this is about.

      With Linux Mint in the mix? They deliberately hold back security fixes because they’re not “tested”, whatever that means in terms of security fixes.

      Pretty much this, but Mozilla always had Google as the default, and Mint used to switch it up for their package with their recommended search engines, and now they’ll simply use what’s the default in upstream for basically everything.
