hehe my initial hypothesis was oranges while my gf was pretty sure it is bananas (looks like she was the closest to the truth), but tomatoes really surprised me :)))
Convenience and taste? Oranges.
Purely taste? Mango. I do not care about getting messy hands, I love it.

Alone, Banana. Processed, probably grapes because of wine.
As someone comented all kinds of fruit are amazing. But regarding my personal preferences I would say:
But I really love them all.
Kiwi or watermelon
Banans
I love bananas, pretty convininet to peal and eat.
Mango.
Source: Me, just had a fantastic mango and thought "if everyone tasted this mango, it would be their most loved fruit"
+1
Btw are you from south asia by any chance?
Latin Americans and South Asians (especially Indians) love mangoes. In India, we have about 1000 varieties of mangoes. http://www.mangifera.res.in/varieties.php

I seem to like all fruit.
Tbf all fruit is amazing. We might prefer some kinds over others but at the end of the day all of them are masterpices of evolution.
pretty kiwi (the green variant)
oranges
Homemade orange juice is a whole other level for breakfast.
@tracyspcy i myself am partial to blueberries, but i’d say people in general like tomatoes the most. they’re everywhere and they’re useful in a lot of recipes
Children, the fruits of a mother’s labour. :)
You do not eat them… WTF?
Yeah, it was kind of a bad joke and just sounds weird. My reasoning behind the answer was the following:
I got your witty answer, but most people are not going to be so witty. You have to consider the range of how perceptive people are towards witty phrasings to resonate with their sense of humour.
Strawberries seem pretty popular and available, but I’d have to say:
spoiler
tomatoes
yeah if we count tomatoes as a fruit, then it’s tomatoes.
Tomato is a fruit.
It’s botanically classified as a fruit, but many things we’d call vegetables are classified as fruits (cucumbers, aubergine), and some things we’d call fruits are classified as vegetables (rhubarb), so I don’t think the scientific classification makes sense in normal communication, unless you’re specifically talking about the scientific aspect of them.

Also you don’t get your hands sticky while eating it, which is practical.
Literally the reason for which I love bananas.
